6.05.010 Definitions.
For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
“Animal” means any living, nonhuman vertebrate creature.
“Authorized employee” means any employee of the town police department or the town street department.
“Town” means the town of Homecroft, Indiana.
“Town council” means the town council of the town of Homecroft, Indiana.
“Veterinarian” means a person licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Indiana.
“Wild animal” means an animal (unless the possessor has been permitted by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to have such wild animal) whose species usually lives in the wild or is not domesticated and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
(a) Red and gray foxes;
(b) Coyotes;
(c) Bobcats;
(d) Wolves (all species); and
(e) Bears. [Added during 2020 recodification.]
